On the reef, we drop live bait and jigs over the reefs and wrecks for snapper, grouper, amberjack and cobia, a short run from the dock and a good bet for a mixed bag to take home.
Offshore, the Caymas runs 10 to 15 miles out on her twin 300s, with outriggers, radar and a thermal camera to find the birds and the bait. We troll and look for weed lines and bird sets for mahi, sailfish, blackfin tuna, wahoo and kingfish.
Choose 4, 6 or 8 hours. The prices shown are the reef trips; offshore on the Caymas is $925 for 4 hours, $1,200 for 6 and $1,500 for 8. Every price is for the whole boat: up to four guests on the reef, on the Contender, and up to six offshore on the Caymas.
